Privacy Policy
This policy explains what ReefDock collects, why we collect it, and how we use marketplace, payment, and shipping information. This is a practical launch policy for ReefDock and should still receive final legal review before full public launch.
1. Information we collect
ReefDock may collect account details, display names, profile images, shipping addresses, order history, listing content, messages sent through the marketplace, and device or log information needed to keep the platform working safely.
2. Payment and payout information
Payments and connected account onboarding are handled through Stripe. ReefDock stores marketplace accounting records and order metadata, but sensitive payment credentials are handled by Stripe under Stripe's own security and compliance systems.
3. Shipping information
ReefDock stores buyer and seller shipping details and may share them with shipping and label providers, including Shippo and carrier partners, to quote rates, purchase labels, verify tracking, and confirm delivery.
4. How we use information
We use account and order information to operate the marketplace, complete purchases, process payouts, provide support, detect fraud or abuse, and enforce marketplace rules.
5. Information sharing
ReefDock shares information only as needed to operate the marketplace, including with payment providers, shipping providers, infrastructure vendors, and law enforcement or legal authorities when required by law.
6. Account and order records
ReefDock may keep order, refund, dispute, fraud, and compliance records after an account is closed when needed for financial reconciliation, marketplace safety, or legal obligations.
7. Your choices
