Terms of Service
These terms govern the use of ReefDock as a marketplace platform. They are intended to make platform expectations clear for launch and should receive final legal review before full public release.
1. Marketplace role
ReefDock provides marketplace software, listing tools, payment workflows, shipping integrations, and trust tooling. ReefDock is not the manufacturer, owner, breeder, or original seller of third-party items listed by users unless ReefDock expressly says so.
2. Account responsibilities
Users must provide accurate information, maintain control of their account, and avoid impersonation, fraud, charge abuse, shill bidding, duplicate evasion, or misleading listings.
3. Seller obligations
Sellers must list items honestly, ship or fulfill what was sold, respond to valid order issues, comply with category-specific rules, and keep listing inventory and order status accurate. Livestock sellers must follow ReefDock's livestock handling and overnight shipping rules.
4. Buyer obligations
Buyers must place orders in good faith, provide accurate delivery information, and use cancellation, claim, dispute, and refund flows honestly. Abuse of refunds or chargebacks may result in account action.
5. Payments, fees, and payouts
ReefDock may collect marketplace fees, application fees, or other charges disclosed through the platform. Stripe may also apply payment processing fees. Seller payout timing, eligibility, and holds are controlled by ReefDock's marketplace logic, fraud review, shipping state, and delivery verification.
6. Cancellations, refunds, and disputes
ReefDock may restrict who can cancel an order and when. Refund amounts can depend on order status, payment processing, shipping label status, and platform policy. ReefDock may pause, review, deny, or manually resolve cancellations, disputes, and charge-related events when needed to protect buyers, sellers, or the platform.
7. Prohibited conduct
Users may not list prohibited items, counterfeit goods, unsafe livestock, stolen goods, unlawful items, or content that violates another party's rights. ReefDock may remove listings or suspend access without notice when platform safety or compliance requires it.
8. Enforcement
ReefDock may limit listings, freeze payouts, cancel transactions, remove content, or terminate accounts when necessary for fraud prevention, safety, shipping abuse, policy violations, or legal compliance.
