On the catalog side, no — retailer search results link out to the retailer (some are affiliate links). On the marketplace side, yes — purchases route through ReefDock's Stripe Connect checkout with live-arrival photo confirmation and delivery-confirmed seller payouts.
Where can I sell my used reef equipment?
List used or new reef aquarium equipment on ReefDock at reefdock.com/sell. Stripe handles checkout, ReefDock holds the seller's payout only until delivery is confirmed, and the platform never co-mingles funds.
Is ReefDock free to use?

Does ReefDock handle shipping for live coral and fish?
On marketplace orders, sellers ship directly to buyers using their own carrier and packaging — ReefDock doesn't operate warehouses. Live shipments require buyer photo confirmation on arrival, which gates the seller's payout release. On catalog/retailer-fulfilled orders, the retailer handles shipping.
How does ReefDock prevent scams on marketplace orders?
Three layers: Stripe-secured checkout that never routes funds through ReefDock, live-arrival photo confirmation required to release seller payouts, and tier-based payout holds (5, 3, or 0 days) so newer sellers have a longer accountability window than established ones.
Is ReefDock linked to Reef Trak?
Yes. ReefDock and Reef Trak (reeftrak.com) are sister apps from the same developer. Sellers who use Reef Trak can attach source-tank parameters to eligible livestock listings, giving buyers visibility into the conditions a coral or fish was raised in.
Can I trade frags or equipment instead of selling?
