About Catala's Star Coral

Alveopora catalai forms compact, branching or encrusting colonies with small polyps that retract fully into their skeleton. Coloration typically ranges from cream to tan, brown, or greenish, often with darker polyp centers. The coral has a distinctive star-like appearance when polyps are extended.
