Appearance Description
Favites spinosa forms massive, dome-shaped colonies with a characteristic bumpy or warty surface. Corallites have prominent spinose (spiny) septa radiating outward. Coloration ranges from tan, brown, and orange to combinations with contrasting polyp colors.
