About Blue Velvet Sea Slug

A small, egg-shaped nudibranch with a distinctive deep blue or purple body and bright blue/turquoise coloration on the rhinophores (tentacle-like sensory organs) and tail. The body is relatively smooth and rounded, typically 0.5–1 inch in length.

Appearance Description
A small, egg-shaped nudibranch with a distinctive deep blue or purple body and bright blue/turquoise coloration on the rhinophores (tentacle-like sensory organs) and tail. The body is relatively smooth and rounded, typically 0.5–1 inch in length.
Compatibility
Generally peaceful but may consume small organisms or coral polyps if underfed. Best kept singly or with calm tank-mates in established systems.
Diet Details
Primarily grazes on detritus, algae films, and microorganisms. Requires well-established substrate with abundant food sources; may need supplemental feeding with dried seaweed or prepared foods.
