Limpets are algae grazers that consume diatoms, microalgae, and film algae off rocks and glass. In mature tanks they may subsist solely on natural algae growth; supplement with blanched spinach or algae wafers if algae is scarce.

Compatibility
Limpets are non-aggressive and reef-safe. They coexist peacefully with corals, other snails, shrimp, and fish. Avoid predatory species such as large wrasses, angelfish, or puffers that may consume them.
