About Maxima Clam

Maxima clams have a thick, ribbed shell with vibrant coloration ranging from blue, green, orange, or red, often with contrasting mantle patterns. The shell is roughly square or heart-shaped with radiating ridges, and the colorful fleshy mantle is studded with photoreceptive spots.

Compatibility
Generally peaceful with fish, but should not be housed with predatory starfish, triggers, or puffers that may damage the clam. Can coexist with non-aggressive fish and other filter feeders.
