About Fowler's Surgeonfish

Fowler's Surgeonfish is a yellow surgeonfish with an olivaceous to brownish-yellow body. It features a yellow tail and dorsal fin, and characteristic venomous spines (scalpel-like keels) on either side of the caudal peduncle, typical of the Acanthuridae family. Adults display subtle banding and the body shape is compressed laterally.

Diet Details
Feed high-quality marine herbivore pellets and frequent offerings of nori seaweed, blanched spinach, or spirulina-based preparations. Supplement with frozen herbivorous preparations 2–3 times weekly to support grazing behavior on natural algae in the aquarium.
Origin
Indo-Pacific region, including the Great Barrier Reef, Indonesia, Philippines, and extending to the Red Sea. Found on coral and rocky reefs in tropical waters.
