About Wartskin Angler
The Wartskin Angler is a small, stocky frogfish with a rounded body covered in wart-like tubercles and protrusions, typically tan, brown, or reddish in coloration with darker markings. It has a distinctive illicium (fishing rod) with a modified dorsal spine extending from its head, and a large hinged mouth for ambush feeding.
