About Seven-Striped Cardinalfish
A small, nocturnal cardinalfish with a compressed body and large eyes adapted for low-light feeding. The body displays seven dark vertical stripes on a reddish or pinkish base coloration. The head is relatively large with a subterminal mouth, and the overall body shape is elongated and streamlined.
