About Many-Spined Angelfish
The Many-Spined Angelfish is a small, deep-bodied pomacanthid with dark coloration—typically dark blue to black—and distinctive spiny dorsal and anal fins that give the species its name. The body is compressed laterally, and mature individuals display subtle patterns or iridescence along the gill covers.
