About Western Triangle Butterflyfish
A moderately-sized butterflyfish with a distinctive yellow body and black striping pattern. Chaetodon declivis displays a characteristic triangular or wedge-shaped dark marking on the anterior portion of the body, and a black eye-band. The dorsal and anal fins are accented with yellow and black banding.
