Cirrhilabrus lineatus is a small wrasse with striking coloration featuring bright blue or purple dorsal and anal fins contrasting with red, orange, or yellow body coloring that intensifies during display behavior. Males exhibit more vibrant coloration than females, with distinctive linear markings along the body and a streamlined, laterally compressed body shape typical of the Labridae family.
