About Tailspot Blenny

The Tailspot Blenny is a small, slender fish with a tan to brown body and a distinctive dark spot or ocellus on the caudal peduncle near the base of the tail. The head is somewhat bulbous with cirri (small tentacle-like structures) above the eyes, typical of the Ecsenius genus. The body tapers gradually toward the tail.

Diet Details
In captivity, provide a varied diet of high-quality prepared foods including small pellets, frozen mysis shrimp, and small frozen copepods. Supplement with vegetable matter such as spirulina-based foods. Feed small amounts 2–3 times daily to match their natural grazing behavior.
